Communities and Families

People in Canada are connected to a diverse range of human, social, economic and cultural capital by virtue of the families and communities to which they belong. These foundational ties can prove fragile, often vulnerable to misguided policy. SRDC projects work to learn more about how to strengthen communities and families; nurturing and optimizing access to the resources they hold. Our evidence informs decision makers in community organizations and governments concerned with positive family development and improving community well-being.
