Racialized Canadians

Canada is composed of many racially diverse groups. Some are at an increased risk for poverty and homelessness due to barriers such as discrimination, racism, language, historical trauma and colonialization. SRDC works with community leaders and organizations to assess the impact of racism and discrimination on racialized peoples, and to develop and test policy and programming that addresses these barriers and supports community empowerment, health and economic equity.
