Many youth face systemic barriers that make them far more likely in general to face unemployment and economic disadvantage than adults. They must navigate a host of transitions on their journey to adulthood calling for them to become sophisticated consumers of education, expert decision-makers in weighing healthy life choices and career options, and resilient to setbacks. SRDC research and program evaluation explores how best youth can be encouraged, supported, engaged and connected to resources that increase their chances of making positive progress to healthy adulthood.
