Indigenous Peoples

More than two million people in Canada identified as First Nations, Inuit, Indigenous or Métis. Those populations face complex and systemic barriers to employment, including a generational history of facing bias, racism, discrimination and harassment. SRDC works closely with Indigenous organizations and others serving Indigenous Peoples to transform and build respectful, inclusive workplaces, classrooms, and healthcare settings, guided by Indigenous values and knowledge.
